Yarn, Fabric &
Wood
We are collecting
scrap yarn, fabric, sewing materials and scrap
wood for a special project that benefits the
children at the Neonatal unit at the University
of Kentucky Medical Center and other worthy
programs. These donated items are given to the
medical inmates at the Federal Medical Institute
in Lexington. They take these scraps and sew,
knit, crochet & carve them into beautiful
blankets, clothes, toys and more for the
children who are suffering from cancer and other
medical conditions. If you would like to donate
some items, please contact Tom Carr at
859-299-1251, x243 or
email Tom.
